In this weeks section there was not that many pages to get through, at the beginning of the section Winston is walking down the corridor and O'Brien is walking behind him and Winston turns around, O'Brien takes his shoulder and they are walking side by side until the get in front of a telescreen and he writes his address on a slip of paper and hands it to Winston telling him that he could pick up the tenth edition of the Newspeak Dictionary. And there is good foreshadowing in the last almost two sentences of page 159 that state, "...a chilly shuddering feeling had taken possession of his body. He had the sensation of stepping into the dampness of a grave, and it was not much better because he had always known that the grave was there and waiting for him." it goes to show the reader that eventually it is as if Winston is going to put himself into the grave he is stepping into due to he rebelling against the party.

This next part of the reading begins with Winston waking up with his eyes full of tears, he had awoken from a dream he had, and a memory connected to it when he had woke up. He stats, "that until this moment i beliesed i had murdered my mother?" The thought of it being your fault that someone is dead is horrid, not only does the thought change your emotions it can also consume you for the longest time until you force it to a unconsious place in your mind. The detail of the memory that Winston has is incredible, that so long ago before the party corrupted him all this happened and now that he is rebeling he sort of getting all of his memories back. On page 165 Winston stats, "The proles are human beings," he said aloud. "We are not human." This is an excilent part of the story it goes to show the reader that the proles stayed human and they didnt become corrupt and hardened inside like tha party members have.

Starting on page 167, the next section gives the reader a pretty good interpetation of the room that Winston and Julia were standing in. The book also states the it is a very rare occation that a outer party member got to see or visit the dwelling spot or and inner party member. Winston is amazed at the fact the O'Brien has the ability and the pricilege to turn off a telescreen he thinks it is pretty amazing and it seems that he sort of cant belive what he is seeing at first. Then they go into discussion starting with, "Shall i say it, or will you?" on the bottom of page 169. From there it goes to talk about O'Brien being the leader of the brotherhood or something like that and it goes to talking about if they are all ready to do all of these sacrifices to join and are ready for all this stuff, and then when he is asking the question, "You are prepared, the two of you, to seperate and never see one antoher again?", and at this time Julia speaks up and says, "No!", this goes on to the end of the section where they are leaving and O'Brien has his hand on the switch to turn the telescreen back on.

117-151

So for this reading i was kind of scared to see what was going to happen, because Winston is finally getting to meet Julia in a secret place, he really isn't to hesitant to go but he is still a few speculations holding him back. After they do it, i sort of got that he feels like in the dreams he was having. It was kind of funny because of the irony that Julia is the Junior Anti-Sex League adviser and then no she goes and buns Winston. It is sort of messed up that Winston likes the fact that Julia is sort of promiscuous most men don't like that fact about women.
The next thing that we read about is Julia waking up and she starts to plan the next meetings over the next few weeks. We see that Winston and Julia are in this relationship for different reasons such as that Julia likes to outwit the party and that Winston sort of is in love with this girl. He goes on to tell the story that kinda of creeps me out because he mentions that he wants to push his ex-wife off of a cliff, but his point comes across well that it would not have made a difference if she accidentally fell or if she really was murdered, there are no free trials in this government controls everything and their story would not stand up for anything.
In the last section it is hate week and all of this stuff is happening and it is like mid-summer i am assuming because it is pretty hot out it says and we learn all this stuff about Julia and how she pretty much just despises the party and all this other stuff.
I kind of thought that there were a few points that were in "How to read like a professor" one of then is the seasons there was that mentioned with the summer and also when they got done making love the birds or whatever that were flying, and there was another part in the second section that made me think of the a cigar can just be a cigar.

81-117

Winston starts out where he is walking through a new place where it seems he hasnt been before, i dont know if it was just me or if anyone else thought that it was royally messed up that when the missile blew up and Winston saw the hand on the plaster all he did was kick it to the side and keep walking so that he was outta of the area that made me think of how messed up the government has these people.
The next part totally sent my mind for a jog, Julia ( i think is her name) falls and Winston is helping her up and then she passes him the note and he is there with the note trying to inturpet what "I LOVE YOU" means. And i also think that Winston has the tendonsy to think badly of others at the start of things he needs to be more open minded about what is going on around him even though he is sort of starting to be more rebellious then he has ever really been. And i think that that Julia is going to be a good thing for Winston because obviously she has been breaking some or many of the party rules just to get alone with Winston.

37-81

At the start of this chapter Winston is going to work and he works at the Ministry of Truth, what he does is he pretty much rewrites time he changes things up and all of that to make it seem as if the government is always right and Big Brother can never be wrong. But at work Winston is changing a document about some Withers or something like that, but the guy got killed and he was killed a enemy of the party so he go down as a good party member, and i think this is when Winston pretty much knows that the way of life that they are living is really messed up. It is pretty ironic that he works in the ministry of truth and what he is doing is actually changing the truth to what the government wants it to be.
During this next part i was wondering does Syme think that their language (that could be classified as their mind in a sort or way) which is getting smaller is a good thing or not? And when the voice comes over the loud speaker saying something about food rations and Winston says that what they are getting is actually less then before and the girl standing there it is like he had no right to talk of anything negative about anything.
The main thing about this reading is that it makes me think about what our government could be doing doing behind all of our backs and we could just be believing it all because it is what is being said, there could actually be a war going on and we have no idea because we are not suppose to know that what the government is doing is wrong, yea this book is wierd
